TEKTON Master Builders has been building custom high-end homes in the San Diego area since 1984. We enjoy and rise to the challenge in the ever changing environment that custom home building creates. Attention to detail and interaction with the owner and architect is our top priority. We realize building a home is a major event in anyone's life and we have developed a system to minimize the stress involved.
Our process starts with a preliminary budget to clarify the scope of the project and provide a basis for budgetary decisions. This includes meeting with architects, engineers, planning and building departments, utility providers and designers to assist in developing a complete understanding of the project. Next we move into the working budget and use the information obtained to develop pricing from subcontractors that is based on accurate information and not guess work. With this vital tool completed we move into the construction phase of the project.
The vital key to success of any project is complete communication. Billing is done on a bi-weekly schedule and includes all invoicing from subcontractors, material suppliers and other costs incurred during the construction of your home. This information is complied using a spreadsheet that tracks all costs to date and balances in the budget.
Our years of construction knowledge enable us to build at the highest standards in a cost effective way. Our people are accomplished and experienced and able to do the job right the first time. Experience is one of the most important aspects of being a good builder, but integrity, character, honor, honesty, enthusiasm, fairness, and dependability are also key to what TEKTON has to offer.
Our goal for every project is to be sensitive to the vision of the clients, architects, engineers, and designers and envision the project complete.
